Bought the hook in the package of Acura, is about $ 1,000 and includes the electric kit. My wife and I were just want to use a bike rack with the clutch and did not pay so much just to walk around with a bicycle rack. After much research and reading other's experience this problem, I decided to buy. I am very glad I did. This adapter is perfect for my 2008 MDX. No need to cut parts of the bumper or all modifications to the vehicle. The hook is generally hiddenunder the car, which is a nice bonus. It looks good. The installation was simple. I went to my brother-brother and we have installed in about an hour. Simply loosen the muffler hanger, heat shields and you can unscrew the smooth installation without any problem. One thing that is not that it helps enormously to have a long head of your ratchet to tighten the mounting screws loose in two places. We have a bike carrier Thule T2 smooth and it works perfectly with this problem. This issue looks greatworks very well and saved me almost $ 900 easily on the installation of the retailer.

It is a good (and cheap) alternative to the OEM hitch. He "sort of functions as advertised. The powder coating on the clutch is not bad, it could for the men in Rust Belt appropriate.
I bought it on Amazon, but it was not packed at all. He had numerous scratches. When the UPS man in the alley with his bare hand, I was in trouble was like "What happened to the package" and he said, it is also … was surprised. The UPS label was put directly on the clutch.
If the UPS labeltook the powder came with adhesive label to expose bare metal. If I was not in Canada I have the clutch of fear again rusty.
I have about an hour to install in 2008 Acura MDX.
Overall, after one week and two uses I wish had gone well with the OEM. The money saved was not worth it. Hope that remain black.
